New England Aquarium

 

The New England aquarium is located in the Cape Cod area of Boston Massachusetts. Cape Cod's aquarium has long been a popular place to visit. Like the Guggenheim with a fish tank, this mesmerizing multilevel circular aquarium on the waterfront is a must-see, housing every known species of aquatic life and garnering high ratings for both child and adult appeal; you can press your face against the glass until a shark swims by, watch penguins galore or a funny sea lion show, or scope of the cool 3-D IMAX; toddlers are tickled by the activity centers games and stories, while older children enjoy the Marine hospital where ocean creatures get some TL sea; this great New England aquarium escape is often very crowded so you'll need to be patient.

Also there is the New England aquarium whale watch; seeing a jarring whale racing next to your boat will take your breath away, say satisfied seafarers after this three to five our excursion, one of several cetacean sighting cruises departing from the waterfront; the kind and healthful onboard staff imparts fascinating history and makes you feel like you're in National Geographic -- a benefit, since it takes time to get too the viewing areas; pass it up if things are great in choppy, unless you don't mind a long ride with vomiting children, keeping in mind that no children under three are allowed on the whale watch rides.
